Test Management, Support & Methodology

Every project and program requires a test management strategy/methodology to scope and plan the testing that is needed, how it is to be done, who will do it and provide a high level plan or schedule for its completion. Navigator will work with your point of contact to develop and create this approach with your goals in mind.

Testing Process Improvement

Navigator helps organizations with the testing lifecycle process by reviewing current procedures and helping establishing new ones. The goal is to design the processes to streamline common tasks and ease the burden on the team.

Organizational Assessments

Our organizational assessment approach is a standalone service that provides a fast and accurate snapshot of your testing lifecycle and recommends a tailored, prioritized roadmap of improvements. This includes how to structure your testing teams, the tools you use, and the testing techniques utilized.

Software Testing Tool Selection

We identify, demonstrate, and assist organizations in securing the right testing tool. We identify the areas within the organization where tool support will help to improve testing processes; evaluate tools against clear requirements and objective criteria; conduct proof-of-concept to see whether product works as desired and meets requirements; evaluate the vendor; and identify and plan internal implementation.

Testing Services

Navigator can provide manual test teams led by subject matter or industry experts. We can also provide support and leadership across all software QA and testing functions, from helping with testing strategy, to resources that work alongside your existing QA and testing teams.

Test Automation Services

Our team of test automation specialists have expertise in building and customizing tool / technology frameworks for test acceleration. We can help develop and maintain scripts, build a scalable and maintainable test suite, and integrate the test automation efforts into the overall development lifecycle.

Performance Testing

Clients are getting increasingly intolerant and abandoning applications if they are not fast enough, secure enough, or simply pleasing enough. This brings to focus why performance testing is so important. Navigator’s performance testing resources have experience in providing cutting edge services spanning multiple platforms and applications.

Technology Deployments

Navigator’s approach to technology deployments aims to plan, schedule and control the movement of releases to test and live environments. The primary goal of deployment management is to ensure that the integrity of the live environment is protected and that the correct components are released.

Project Deployment Success: What to Know
Project Deployment Success: What to Know
Deployment isn’t sexy. That's shocking, I know. Nevertheless, project deployment must be flawless.  Like any essential part of a project, a successful deployment can make or break a project's long-term future. The challenge with deployment is that you have only one chance to do it right. Deployment of business-critical applications must be completed on time so that the business users can perform the tasks that the project is enabling or streamlining. Only when deployment is complete can the project begin to provide the financial, compliance, strategic, or other benefit envisioned long ago when even the business case was but a dream.

Delivering Value

More than 30 percent of software projects are cancelled before they are completed. Of completed projects, most deliver fewer features and less business value than promised. Navigator provides the strong business analysis needed to ensure that major investments provide expected value to the organization and critical stakeholders.
